LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Ap ply oil to new a -rings
and inst all
th em on to the
o il pass pipe.
In st all t he o il pass pipe 10 t he oil stra iner pipe.
Coal new O-rin g s with oil an d install th em onto th e
oil joint pipes.
Install th e oil pu mp drive chain onto th e driv en
sproc ket of th e oil pu m p, an d install th e oi l pum p
o nto th e crankc ase .
Inst all th e thr e e mounting bolts a nd tighte n th em
secu rely.
In stall t he torque co nverter (p age 14-73) .
OIL COOLER
REMOVAL
Rem ove th e f ro nt fen der l page 3-11 ).
Rem ove t he radiato r grille by rele asing the fou r
retain ing clips .
