ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Coat a new a ·ring with molybdenum disulfide
grease and install it in the output shaft
groove.
Apply molybdenum disu lfide grease to the propeller
shaft joint splines.
Engage the propelle r shaft joint ov er the outpu t
shaft, aligning t he jo int and shaft splines while mov-
ing the differential rearward.
Upper
Side" A lign the m ou nti ng points of the di fferen t ial and
f rame, and ins tallthe spacer (between t he left side
of th e differential and frame) and 10-m m bolt from
the ri g ht side . Install a new 10-mm nut.

Install the 10-m m bo lt from the rig ht side .
Front
SI/Iff"
Install
t he mounti ng bracket, 8-mm bol ts and nu t.
Tighten the all the d ifferential mounting fasteners.
TORQUE:
10
mm nut:
44 N·m (4.5 kg' ·rn. 33 fbl·tt)
8 mm nut: 22
Nm
(2.2 kgf·m , 16Ibf.ft )
Coat new a ·rings with engine oil and install them
into each oil pipe g rooves.
fnstaume oil pi pes to Ihe joint with the oil pipe lug
faci ng forward and lighten the bolls secur ely .
Connect t he water hose and tighten the clamp
screw securely.
