Minor adj ustments are made with the uppe r
adjuster.
Slide the rubber boot off the adjuster. Loosen the
lock nut. turn the adjuster as requi red and tighten
the lock nut.
Install the rubber boot securely.
Major adjustmen ts are made with the lower
adjuster.
Remove the seat (page 3-4).
Remov e the t hrott le body cover (page 4-4) .
Slide the rub ber bo ot oft the adjuster. l oosen the
lock nut, turn the adjuster as required and lighten
t he lock nut
Install t he rubber boot securely.
Recheck the throttle operation
Install the th rottle body cover (pag e 4-41.
Insta ll the seat (page 3-4).

Remove the seal (page 3-4).
Release the retaining clips and lid sp rings from the
air cleaner housing cover and remove the cover.
NOTE:
• If the vehicle is used in dusty areas. sand or
snow, more frequen t inspections are required .
Loosen t he air cleaner element band screw.
