NO - GO TO STEP 2.
2. Shift So lenoid V alve Operation Check
Disconnect the shift solen oi d valve 2P (Black)
a nd 2P (Bro w nl co n necto rs. Connect a 12 V bat-
t ery to each so lenoid te rm inals.
It should ope rat e (sou nds) w hen the batt ery is
conn ected .

NO - Faulty shift solenoid valve A and/o r
B-
YES - Hyd raul ic circuit ma lf unctio n is likely
cause . Check th e o il p ressu re (page 14-
12).
