Install tha hoot into the master cylinder.
If the push rod joint is rei nsta lled, adjust t he pus h
rod length so that the dis tance between the cen ters
of th e master cylinder low er mounting bolt hole and
the cente rs of the joi nt pin hol e is 80 ± 1 mm (3.15
±
0.04 in) . After adjustment, tighten the joint nut.
TORQUE : 18 N ·m ( 1.8 kgf·m , 13 Ibf.tt )
Connect t he master cylinder to t he brake peda l with
the joint pin and a new cotter pin .
Ap ply grease

new d ust seal lips.
Insta ll the dust seals into the brake peda l.
Hook the return spring (0 the peda l and fr am e

sho wn.
Connect t he brake switch spr ing to the ret urn
spring.
Install and t ig hten the brake peda l piv ot bolt.
