SUB·TRANSMISSION /GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Install th e ar m B by aligning t he slit wi th th e m ark

Install the pinch bol t and tighten it.
TORQUE: 16
Nm
(1.6 kgf.m. 12 IbUt)
Tigh t en t he p iv ot nut .
TORQUE: 9 N-m (0.9 kgf ·m . 6.5 IbUt)
Install t he ret urn sp ri ng in th e directio n as show n.
Apply grease to the gate groove.
Check the selecto r lever for smooth op eration.
Ad just the selector cab le if necessary (pag e 12-15).
Install th e fu el tank (page 6-39).
SELECTOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT
Rem ove the foll owi ng:
- fue l ta nk a nd head gu ard plate (page 6-39).
- left e ng ine s ide cover (pa ge 3-17)
Loo sen th e cable lock nut s full y.
