FUEL GAUGE SEGMENTS
Turn the ignit ion switch ON and check th e fuel
gauge.
All seg ments should bli nk.
Tu rn t he ignition swi tch OFF.
Connect th e m eter side connecto r terminals with
B
jumper w ire.
Turn [he ignition sw itch ON and check t he fuel
gauge.
A ll segments sho ul d blink.
If t he fu el gauge does not fu nct ion properly, replace
the co mbi nation m et er (page 23-9).
Turn the ignit ion switch OFF.
Remove t he fuel t ank cover (p age 3-5).
Remove t he t h ree bolts, retain ing prate and f uel
level sensor fr o m t he fue l ta nk.
With t he fuel lev el sensor fl oat at th e to p

positi on , t urn t he ignition switch ON and check the
fue l g auge.
