REMOVAL
- shock absorber upper m ounting nul and boll
Remove the follow ing .
- w heel hub l p<tge 16-6)
- sea t l page 3·4}
Hight dflV6 Shim
Remove t he rig ht side cov er (page 351.
LeI! olive shdff
Remove the oil fille r lid tpaue 3-8).
Suppon the lower arm w ith a suppan block .
Rem ove the fo llowing :
- stabilizer l ink our Ito dis conne ct the lin k)
- two uppe r arm pivot nut s and bo lts
f 0 prevent d8miJge
to the gear case

Remove th e shock absorber and upper arm off the
fra m e, an d pivot the knuck le ou twa rd to releas e it
fr om t he dr ive shaft.
Ho ld the inboard joint of the dr ive shah and tug "''''"''"'"'''''"''''''''"
firmly to fo rce the stopper ring at th e d rive shaft end
past t he groove while prying w it h a screwdriver .
Remove t he stopper ring .
