Remove the right side cover

Remove the rea r brake reservoir cap. set plate and
diaphragm .

Connect the bleed hose to the rear brake caliper
bleed valve .
loosen the bleed valve and pump the brake lever
until no mote fluid flows out 01 the bleed valve.
BRAK E FLU ID FILLING/BLEEDING
FRON T BRAKE
Close the front brake caliper bleed valve.
Fill the f ront master cylinder reservoir with DOT 4
brake fluid from a sealed container.
Connect a commerdally avai lable brake bleeder 10
Ihe bleed valve.
Operate the brake bleeder and lo osen the bleed
valve.
II an automatic ref ill svsrem is not used, add fluid
when the fluid level in the reserv oir is low.
Perf o rm the bleeding pro cedu re until the system

co m pletely flushed/bled.
Tighten the bleed
valve.
TORQUE: 5.4 Nm (0.55 kgt -m . 4.0 lbf.ftj
Perform air b leeding tor the othe r side bleed valve .
