Remove the following ;
- bo ot band
- boot (off t he pi nion joi nt)
- propeller sha ft
sp ring
- five disc bolts
- brake disc
INSTALLATION
Ins ta ll the brake disc with the stamp facing to the
engine side. Install new disc bol ts and tighten them
in a crissc ross pattern in several steps.
TORQUE: 20 N·m (2.0 kg fm. 14 1 bf.ft J
App ly 5 - 8 9 of molybdenum disulfide grease to the
pinion joi nt splines.
Inst all t he spri ng into the propelle r shaft .
Set the propeller shah into the pinion jo in t w hile
compressing the spring, t hen install the boot over
the pinion jo inl groove secu rely and secu re it wi th
the boot ban d .
Be sure t he pr opeller shaft is installed properly by
pulling on t he shaft lightly.
