Measur e Ih e spark plug gap between the center and
side elect rodes w it h a wi re-type feele r gauge.
Make sure the 1.20 mm (0.047 in ' wire·ty pe feeler
gauge cannot be i nsert ed into the ga p.
If th e g auge can be inserted into the gap, rep lace the
plug w ith a new o ne.
Screw t he spa rk pl ug into t he cylinde r head by hand
to prevent cro ss-t hread ing.
TighTen the spark plug .
TORQUE: 22 N'm f2.2 kgf.m. 16 IbUt)
Install the rem oved parts in the reve rse o rder of
removal.

Remove the timing ho le cap .
