2. Shift Solenoid Valv e " A" Inspectio n
Tu rn th e ig nit ion switch OFF.
Discon nect the shift solenoid "A " 2P (Blackl con -
nector.
Measure th e resistance be tween the shift sole-
noid valve 2P (Black) connector terminals of Ihe
solenoid side .
'5 th e resistance within
14.6 - 16.2

YES - GO TO STEP 3.
NO - Faulty shift so lenoid valve "A ",
3. S hift Sole noid Valve "A" line Open Circuit
Inspecti on
Connecl lhe shift solenoid "A" 2P i Blackl conne c-
tor.
Discon nect t he pe M 33P (Black) co nnecto r.
M easure the res's ten ce at the PCM connect or
ter m inals.
TOOL:
Test probe
(5 ther . con tin uity?
YES _ . Short circuit in the Yellow/b lack w ire.
• Short circuit in the Greenlwh ite wire.
YES - GO TO STEP 4.
4. Sh ift Sole noid " A" line Sho rt Circ uit lnspecticn
Turn the ig nit io n switch OFF.
Disco nn ect the shift sole noid "A " :<,P {Black) co n-
necto r.
Check for conti nui ty between the sh ift sole noid
"A " 2P (Black) connecto r ter mina ls of the w ire
harn ess side and g round .
Connect io n : Green/ whit e - Grou nd
Yellow/ b lack- Gro und
