FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM
Separate th e other drive shaft f ro m the di fferentia l
as you rem ove it.
Rem ove the di ffe rential assembly h om the frame.
DIFFERENTIAL DISASSEMBLY/
INSPECTION
PROPELLER SHAFT INSPECTION
Remove the bool band and boot from the prope ller
sha h joint, and rem ove the propeller shaft joi nt and
spring.
PROPELLER SHAFT BOOT BAND

BOOT PROPELLER SHAFT JOINT
Check t he splines o f the propeller shaft and jo int fo r
wear o r damage.
If damaged, check the output sha lt and the pi nion
joint also.
Check the seal rubbers for fatique or
dam age.
Check the boots for cuts, deterioration or d am age.
OPERATION CHECK
Install a8 mm nul onto the pinion gear.
