FUEL SYSTEM (PGM -FI)

Remov e th e fu el tank left side cove r (page
3-B).
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the Eel sensor 2P (Black) con nect o r.
Tu rn the ignition sw it ch ON and engi ne stop
switch ftO".
Check the
Eel
se nso r with the HDS pocket
test er.
Is about 0 V ind icated?
NO - GO TO STEP 3.
YES - GO TO STEP 4.

3. Eel Sensor Resist ance Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Measu re th e resistanc e at th e

Con nection : W hite - Gree n/red
Sta nda rd: 2.3 - 2.6 kU 120 C/68 'F I
Is
the resistan ce withi n 2.3 - 2.6 kIl ?
YES - Replace the PCM w it h a new one , and
rech eck.
No - Faultv Eel sens or .

NO - Replace th e PCM with a new o ne. and
recheck.
