If the earphone/microphone is disconnected while the FOMA terminal is
closed, the call will become mute when [Silent] or [Finish call] is set, or
the call is put on hold when [Hold sound] is set. The call resumes when
the earphone/microphone is reconnected or the handset is open.
Actions when the viewer position is set during a call follow Set when
closed.
Earpiece volume

Adjusting earpiece volume

Select from [Volume 1] to [Volume 10].
The volume remains at an adjusted level even when the handset is
turned off or the battery pack is removed.

During a call, press o/p.
: Adjusting the volume is available while making a call, calling or on
hold.

: After adjusting the volume, wait approximately 2 seconds and the call
display reappears.
On hold
Placing a call on hold when calls
cannot be answered immediately
The other party is charged for the call while on hold.
If subscribed to Voice Mail Service or Call Forwarding Service, a
received call is connected to the Voice Mail Service center or forwarded
to the set destination (nP. 72).

During an incoming call, press H.
: When a voice call is received, the other party hears the On hold tone.
: When a Videophone call is received, the image set in On hold image
is sent to the other party with [On hold] superimposed.

: The call is disconnected when H is pressed while on hold, or when
the other party disconnects the call (The call is saved in Received
calls).

Press s when ready to answer.
: To answer with a substitute image (Videophone): Press i.
