"General Inquiries" on the back of this manual.
To make an international call through a company other than DOCOMO,
contact the representative companies directly for instructions.
Some payment plans may not be available.
When calling users of the specified 3G telecommunications carriers
overseas, use "International Videophone" by making the call in
Videophone mode after the entering method above.
Refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide [International Services]" or the
DOCOMO "International Services website" for information on available
countries and telecommunications carriers.
Depending on the other party's international Videophone terminal, the
image that appears on the FOMA terminal may be distorted, or the
connection may not be possible.
Entering + to make an international call
When making an international call from Japan, enter + before dialing the
overseas number to automatically place the international call access code.
Press 0 for 1+ seconds to enter +.

In stand-by, press 0 (for 1+ seconds)/enter the
country code, area code (city code) and other party's
phone number/s.
: The number with the international call access code, which is
converted from +, appears.

Select [Call].
: Select [Original number] to make an international call using the
entered number without converting to the international access code.

Enter only the country code, area code (city code) and the phone number,
then select the international call access code set in IDD prefix setting to
make international calls.

In stand-by, enter the country code, area code (city
code) and other party's phone number/C.

Select [Add prefix setting]/[International Call].

Select the international call access code/t/s.
The caller ID may not be notified or displayed correctly depending on
the telecommunications carrier, even if Notify caller ID setting
(nP. 57) is set to "Send ID". In this case, making a call from Received
calls is not available.

Automatically adding an international call
access code/country code
Set whether to automatically place the international call access code by
entering +. In addition, set whether to automatically convert the first 0 in the
phone number to the country code when making an international call
overseas.

In the Custom menu, select [Settings]/[Phone
settings]/[Other settings]/[Int'l dial assist]/[Auto
conversion].

Select the [Int'l prefix conv] field/t/[ON].
: Set international call access codes as auto prefix in the IDD prefix
setting.

Select the [Country code conv]
select the country to add/t.
: Select from among country codes saved in the Set country code.

Press i.
