Perform one of the following to select input modes of the switch input
mode palette.
Select the input mode with w.
Press a.
• Press a to switch the input mode. However, [Ａａ] and [Aa]
cannot be selected.
When the Input method is [Romaji method], [g] appears in the input
mode display.

Example: When entering 電話

In the text input screen, enter でんわ.
: でんわ: Press 4 (four times)/*
0 (three times)/r/0 (once).
: To enter multiple characters assigned to the
same key: Enter a character/r.
• Alternatively, press the same key for 1+
seconds.
: To change the range of characters to be
converted: Press v.
: To switch the setting for Personal guess:
Press m.

Press p to move the cursor to the conversion
candidates field.
: To show the next list: Press a.
: To show the previous list: Press m.
: To switch between Normal conversion and Quick conversion: Press
C.
: To change the range of characters to be converted (only during
Normal conversion): Press i/C.
