i-motion/Movie

i-motion
i-motion refers to image, voice and music data. Download i-motion to the
FOMA terminal from i-motion sites, etc. and play the downloaded i-motion.
Search for i-motion sites in [メニューリスト] of iMenu.
i-motion types include the Standard type and the Streaming type.
Type Playback method
Standard type *1, 2 Played after download

(up to 10 MB)
*1 Some Standard type i-motion cannot be saved (data that cannot be
played).
*2 For Standard type i-motion, there are i-motion of up to 500 KB that is
downloaded in one operation and i-motion of up to 10 MB that is
downloaded in several batches even if the download is interrupted
for an unspecified reason.
When setting i-motion as ring tone or receive display

Voice only i-motion (with no image) cannot be set for the receive display.
Image only i-motion (with no voice) cannot be set for the ring tone.
If i-motion with image and voice is set as the ring tone or the receive
display, the i-motion is set for both.
When the Videophone ring tone, Payphone ring tone, User unset, and
Unknown tone are set to [Phone ring tone] if i-motion with image and
voice is set as Phone ring tone, the actions are as follows.

The receive display follows the Incoming voice calls screen.
The receive display is set to [電話着信1] if a voice only i-motion or
Chaku-uta full ® is set for the ring tone when an image only i-motion or
Flash movie with sound effects is set for the receive display.
The ring tone is set to [着信音1] if an image only i-motion or Flash movie
with sound effects is set for the receive display when a voice only
i-motion or Chaku-uta full ® is set for the ring tone.
Some i-motion are not available.
Movie
Internet movie player supports the playback of Windows Media Video
and Windows Media Audio.
A large amount of data may be received. Making a transmission with
large-volume data will lead to higher transmission charges. For details on
transmission charges and payment plans, refer to "Mobile Phone User's
Guide [i-mode] FOMA version".
The following are the distribution systems and file formats for movies that
can be played.
