Subscribe to i-mode service to exchange mail with other i-mode
terminals and e-mail via the Internet.
Attach up to ten files (pictures, moving picture files, etc.) in total
of 2 MB to a message. Also, Deco-mail is available. Send
expressive mail by changing text color, character size, and
background color and inserting Deco-mail pictograms.
Moreover, Flash movie Decome-Anime with a message or image
inserted is available.
Refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide [i-mode] FOMA version" for details
on i-mode mail.

Composing and sending i-mode mail

To compose and send a mail by switching a sender's address when the
2in1 mode is set to [Dual mode] nP. 427
When using [Search phonebook] and [Mail members] for the address,
register the phonebook (nP. 87) and mail member (nP. 158) in
advance.

In stand-by, press m/[Compose message].
: When composing a message for the first time, the description of
Deco-mail display appears. Read the description and select [Agree].

Select the [To] field/t/select the input method.

• When a confirmation screen asking whether to overwrite appears,
select [Yes].

: @docomo.ne.jp is not necessary when sending to i-mode terminals.
: When the recipient is saved in the phonebook, the name appears in
the recipient field.

Select the [Sub] field/t/enter a subject/t.
: Enter up to 200 single-byte (100 double-byte) characters.
: [K] (line breaks) are not available for subjects.

Select [Msg]/enter the message text/t.
: Enter up to 10,000 single-byte (5,000 double-byte) characters
(10,000 bytes).
: [K] (line break) is counted as a double-byte character. Single- and
double-byte spaces (blanks) are counted as single- and double-byte
characters, respectively.
: Location URL is counted as characters.
• [K] is placed before location URL.
: In the message entry screen, confirm a character in the character
entry area in the middle or bottom of the display, press t and move
it to the cursor location to insert.
