Resetting i-Channel settings

In the Custom menu, select
[Reset i-Channel].

Enter the terminal security code/t/[Yes].
The i-Channel ticker does not appear. When the information is
automatically updated or c (J) is pressed in stand-by to receive the
latest information, the information is automatically shown in the
stand-by ticker.

i-concier

"i-concier" is a service to support the user's life like butler or
concierge. It allows to keep user's various data (area information,
schedule, ToruCa, phonebook, etc.) and timely provide
information tailored to the living area or hobby. In addition, the
schedule or ToruCa saved in the FOMA terminal is automatically
updated, or useful information is automatically added to the
phonebook, such as store hours. i-concier information is
provided by Machi-chara (a character in stand-by) in the stand-by
display.
Using i-concier

i-concier is a paid service that requires subscription (i-mode subscription
is required).
If non-subscribers of the Data Security Service (nP. 127) newly
subscribe to i-concier, they are supposed to be subscribers of the Data
Security Service.
There are two types information, information provided by DOCOMO and
information provided by IP (Information Providers). Packet transmission
charges are not incurred for the former information but are incurred when
receiving the latter information.
Packet transmission charges are incurred for using detailed information.
[i-mode]/[i-Channel]/
Packet transmission charges are incurred for receiving information and
viewing detailed information during international roaming. In addition, for
use overseas, packet transmission charges differ from those in Japan.
In addition to monthly usage fees of i-concier, a separate fee may be
incurred depending on contents (information, i-schedule, etc.).
Packet transmission charges are incurred for automatically updating
i-schedule, ToruCa, or phonebook.

on i-concier.
When information is received

When the FOMA terminal is inside the call-enabled area, information is
received automatically.
Save up to 50 information. When 50 information is exceeded, it is
overwritten starting with the oldest.
When receiving multiple information at once, only the latest one is
appeared as the popup message.

Receive information automatically.

After receiving, a popup message
appears on the stand-by display.

Press t/select the popup message/t.
: The received information appears on the top of i-concier screen.

Select the information.
: The details of information appears.
