i-mode

i-mode enables the user to use online services, such as
connection to sites and the Internet, and i-mode mail with i-mode
compatible FOMA terminals (i-mode terminals).
i-mode is a paid service that requires subscription.
Refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide [i-mode] FOMA version" for details
on i-mode service contents.
■ Using i-mode
Sites and Internet web pages are generally protected by copyright law.
Using downloaded text, images or other data from sites and web pages
for non-personal use without the author's permission such as changing,
selling or redistributing is prohibited.
Some models may not allow data such as downloaded images/moving
pictures/melodies, files sent/received by mail (images/moving pictures/
melodies, etc.), "Screen memos" or "Message R/F" to be viewed/played if
a different FOMA card is inserted or the handset is turned on without a
FOMA card.
If files with access restrictions by a FOMA card are set as the stand-by
display or ring tone, etc. and a different FOMA card is inserted or the
handset is turned on without a FOMA card, settings are reset to default.

Viewing sites

Use the various services provided by IPs (Information Providers).
Use the FOMA terminal for functions such as bank balance
inquiries or ticket reservations. Available services vary
depending on sites. Separate subscription may be required.
While viewing sites, use the pointer to select items.

In stand-by, press i.
: In the Custom menu: Select [i-mode]/[iMenu/
Search].
: To cancel: Press i while [=] flashes.

: To scroll the screen: Press u.
: To switch the tab windows: Press i.
• Switch to the right tab window while viewing multiple sites.
: To end i-mode: Press H/[Yes].
If Set i-mode button (nP. 189) is set to [Display i-mode menu], i-mode
menu can be displayed by pressing i in the stand-by display.
Some sites may exceed the number of colors that the FOMA terminal
can show on the display.
Select [Search by i-mode] on the folder list of Data box, Deco-mail
template list, Decome-Anime Template list, i-appli software list,
Osaifu-Keitai menu, etc. to connect to sites.
