You also have the option of specifying import of just ISIS, RIP, OSPF, BGP4, or static routes, as well
as specifying that only routes for a specific network or with a specific cost (metric) be imported, as
shown in the command syntax below:
Syntax: [no] redistribution bgp | connected | rip | static [route-map <map-name>]
For example, to enable redistribution of RIP and static IP routes into OSPF, enter the following
commands.
BigIron RX(config)# router ospf
BigIron RX(config-ospf-router)# redistribution rip
BigIron RX(config-ospf-router)# redistribution static
BigIron RX(config-ospf-router)# write memory

Modify default metric for redistribution

The default metric is a global parameter that specifies the cost applied to all OSPF routes by
default. The default value is 10. You can assign a cost from 1 – 65535.
