Displaying MBGP neighbors

To view MBGP neighbor information including the values for all the configured parameters, enter
the following command. This display is similar to the show ip bgp neighbor display but has
additional fields that apply only to MBGP. These fields are shown in bold type in the example and
are explained below.
NOTE
The display shows all the configured parameters for the neighbor. Only the parameters that have
values different from their defaults are shown.

This example shows how to display information for a specific neighbor, by specifying the neighbor's
IP address with the command. The number in the far left column indicates the neighbor for which
information is displayed. When you list information for multiple neighbors, this number makes the
display easier to read.
The Neighbor NLRI Negotiation section (shown in bold type) lists the types of routes that this device
can exchange with the MBGP neighbor.
The TCP statistics at the end of the display show status for the TCP session with the neighbor. Most
of the fields show information stored in the device's Transmission Control Block (TCB) for the TCP
session between the device and its neighbor. These fields are described in detail in section 3.2 of
RFC 793, "Transmission Control Protocol Functional Specification".
