Viewing IGMP Enabled Interfaces

Interfaces that are enabled with PIM-SM are automatically enabled with IGMP. View IGMP-enabled
interfaces using the command
FTOS#show ip igmp interface gig 7/16
GigabitEthernet 7/16 is up, line protocol is up
Internet address is 10.87.3.2/24
IGMP is enabled on interface
IGMP query interval is 60 seconds
IGMP querier timeout is 300 seconds
IGMP max query response time is 10 seconds
Last member query response interval is 199 ms
IGMP activity: 0 joins, 0 leaves
IGMP querying router is 10.87.3.2 (this system)
IGMP version is 2

Selecting an IGMP Version

FTOS enables IGMP version 2 by default, which supports version 1 and 2 hosts, but is not compatible with
version 3 on the same subnet. If hosts require IGMP version 3, you can switch to IGMP version 3 using the
command
ip igmp version
FTOS(conf-if-gi-1/13)#ip igmp version 3
FTOS(conf-if-gi-1/13)#do show ip igmp interface
GigabitEthernet 1/13 is up, line protocol is down
Inbound IGMP access group is not set
Interface IGMP group join rate limit is not set

IGMP is enabled on interface
