Command Syntax
seq sequence-number {deny |permit} ip-prefix
[ge min-prefix-length] [le max-prefix-length]
For configuration information on prefix lists, refer to the Access Control Lists (ACLs) chapter in the FTOS
Configuration Guide.
Use the following commands in CONFIGURATION-ROUTER OSPF mode to apply prefix lists to
incoming or outgoing OSPF routes.
Command Syntax

Redistribute routes

You can add routes from other routing instances or protocols to the OSPF process. With the
command syntax, you can include RIP, static, or directly connected routes in the OSPF process.
Note: Do not route iBGP routes to OSPF unless there are route-maps associated with the OSPF
redistribution.
Use the following command in CONFIGURATION- ROUTER-OSPF mode to redistribute routes:

Usage
Create a prefix list with a sequence
number and a deny or permit action. The
optional parameters are:
ge min-prefix-length
length to be matched (0 to 32).
le max-prefix-length:
length to be matched (0 to 32).
Command Mode Usage
CONFIG-ROUTER- Apply a configured prefix list to incoming
OSPF-id OSPF routes.
CONFIG-ROUTER- Assign a configured prefix list to outgoing
OSPF-id OSPF routes.
Usage
Specify which routes will be redistributed into OSPF
process. Configure the following required and
optional parameters:
• bgp, connected ,
of the keyword to redistribute those routes. rip is
supported only on E-Series.
•
metric
• metric-type
route type 1 or 2 for OSPF external route type 2.
• route-map
configured route map.
