Description
Use this command to clear all zone information in the transaction buffer. All
defined zone objects in the transaction buffer are deleted. If an attempt is made to
commit the empty transaction buffer while a zone configuration is enabled, a
warning is displayed, to first disable the enabled zone configuration or to provide
a valid configuration with the same name.
After clearing the transaction buffer using the cfgClear command, use the
cfgDisable command to commit the transaction, and disable and clear the
zone configuration in non-volatile memory for all the switches in the fabric,
across reboots.
Note:
When security is enabled, this command can only be issued from the Primary FCS
switch. See
