Description
Use this command to disable a blade. All Fibre Channel ports are taken offline. If
the switch was connected to a Fabric through this blade, the remaining switches
reconfigure, and this switch will configure based on the other blade ports.
A blade must be disabled before making configuration changes or before running
many of the diagnostic tests.
A blade does not need to be disabled before rebooting or powering off.
To observe and verify the disable process, watch the front panel LEDs change to
slow flashing yellow as each port of the blade is disabled.
