Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
In a preprovisioned Virtual Chassis configuration, specify the serial number of each
EX4200 member switch to be included in the Virtual Chassis configuration. If you do not
include the serial number within the Virtual Chassis configuration, the switch cannot be
recognized as a member of a preprovisioned configuration.
serial-number
—The switch's permanent serial number, which is located on the back of
the switch.
routing—To view this statement in the configuration.
routing-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
