7.1 Counter Function

7.1.1 Overview of Counter Function

● The count function is used to count the number of input pulses and reflect it to the elapsed
value. The freqeuncies of input pulses can also be measured.
● When an external output is necessary, use this function in combination with the comparison
function.
● There is also a function which holds the elapsed value at the time of the trigger input signal
from an external device. For details, refer to

By default, the input time constant is set to 2 µs. Change the setting according to the frequencies
required. (The count upper limit at 2 µs is approx. 100 kHz.)
