Configuring the NetComm SmartModem M7F for network link
Step Action
1 Connect a workstation to the modem
with a straight through NT1R03Dx or
NT1R03Ex cable.
2 Connect the workstation and the
modem to their power sources.
3 Power up the workstation and the
modem.
4 Enter the following commands on the
workstation keyboard, pressing
{ENTER} after each command.

####### must be replaced with the
correct telephone number for the
Meridian MAX node.

5 Power down the workstation and the
modem.
6 Disconnect the workstation from the
modem.

for network link.
