Maintaining a Flame Photometric Detector
23. Reinsert the filter into the support. The mirror
face must be oriented towards the flame
CAUTION Avoid touching the filter with
your fingers. If you see
fingertips on the filter, clean it
using a clean paper towel and, if
needed, GC-grade methanol
before remounting.
24. Reassembly the photomultiplier tube and the
detector body, then fix them together tightening
the knurled nut.
