Clean the Collecting Electrode
7. Remove the holder assembly of the signal cable
by unscrewing the two screws that fix it on the
detector cell.
8. Using forceps, unscrew and remove the contact
pin.
9. Using tweezers, remove the collecting electrode
through the top side of the detector cell.
10. Place the collecting electrode in the ultrasonic
bath filled with liquid detergent and clean for
about five minutes.
11. Handling the collecting electrode with forceps
or tweezers, rinse it using tap water, then
methanol.
12. Place the collecting electrode on a paper towel
and let it air dry.
