Maintaining a Purged Packed Column Injector
9. Unscrew the retaining nut at the bottom of the
injector.
10. Remove the liner and the ferrule.
11. Remove the ferrule from the liner.
12. If you are using a new liner, go to step 14. If
you are cleaning the liner, put the dirty liner
into an ultrasonic bath filled with a methanol/
acetone mixture (1:1) and clean it for about half
an hour.
13. Using tweezers, remove the liner from the bath
and dry it with compressed clean air.
