Multi-Drop, User-Defined

Purpose:
Multi-Drop, User-Defined is an option of User-Defined protocol. You must set
the POL and SEL characters to define a unique device address. For help, see
"POL and SEL Combinations for Multi-Drop Protocol" in Appendix C.
Note: You must select User-Defined protocol before you can enable Multi-Drop,
User-Defined protocol. For help, see "Communications Protocol, Configure" earlier in
this chapter. To activate Multi-Drop, User-Defined protocol, select User-Defined in the
configuration command Communications Protocol, Activate.
