Parity

Purpose: Sets the parity of the selected communications port. The reader uses parity for
error checking in data transmissions.
Note: You must select the communications port and protocol before you set the
parameters that define the protocol. For help, see "Communications Protocol,
Configure" earlier in this chapter.
Default: Even
Syntax: IBdata
Acceptable values for data are:
