Steps 18-20 describe how to disable and enable the drivers for
the node.
18. Disable the Adapter driver:
a. Access the Windows Device Manager by right clicking My computer and selecting
Properties/Hardware tab/Device Manager, as described previously
b. From the Device Manager screen, click the + to expand the SAN Adapter directory.
c. Right click on Compaq ServerNet-II PCI Adapter, and, from the drop-down menu that
appears, select Disable. The following screen appears:
d. Click Yes to disable the Adapter driver (you will re-enable it in the next steps).
NOTE: The Adapter should appear with a when it is disabled.
