A ServerNet II Switch failed neighbor validation on one of its ports. The offending node
will not be able to receive or transmit ServerNet II data packets until the situation is
corrected.

NOTE: The only (non-programmatic) way to get a switch to rerun neighbor checks is to cycle link state. If
the solution does not toggle the link-state, then the user will have to manually cycle the power on the
offending node.

snetSwitchPortErrorStatusIndex could not be validated by the Switch.

Possible Cause
Indicates
Identifies the switch that detected the change
The switch name. If no name is defined, this field will
be blank.
Indicates the port that detected the change
Indicates the ID of the neighbor which has changed
Possible Solution
Run diagnostics to validate offending nodes.
Verify Cabling and correct if necessary.
Offending node may not be participating in the IBC
protocol. Node may need to be added using special
handling in the Administrator GUI.
Switch Configuration may be incorrect. Reconfigure
switch.
Offending node may not have been added to the SAN.
Run Administrator GUI to add node.
Offending node may not have been correctly added to
the SAN. Run Administrator GUI to verify status and
add if necessary.
