Steps 11-20 describe how to install the drivers
on the end nodes.
With the primary node and the Switches added to the SAN topology and the connections
verified, you now add the end nodes to the topology. You configure them in Steps 16-22.
11. Physically install the next Adapter in a second ProLiant server. (ServerNet II does not
support installing two Adapters in the same server.) See the ServerNet II PCI Adapter
Hardware and Configuration poster packaged with the Adapter.
12. The Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
13. Insert the ServerNet II CD into the CD-ROM drive of this ProLiant server.
14. When the ServerNet II Installation screen appears, minimize it.
15. Follow the Found New Hardware Wizard to install the drivers. See the section "Installing
Drivers — New Installations" in this chapter.
16. After you install the drivers for this end node, maximize the ServerNet II Installation
screen and select Node Configuration.
