WSD Windows Sockets Direct (WSD) is a Data Center Server application
that allows existing Windows Sockets applications to take advantage
of System Area Networks (SANs) without the existing Windows
Sockets application having to make any changes. It does this using
a SAN Service Provider. WSD routes data over a SAN via the SAN
Service Provider (if one exists), otherwise, WSD routes data over
