Diagnostic that lets you automatically perform echo, topology, and
routing tests on other nodes in the SAN. Recommended over
interactive mode because of its simplicity of use.
CLI In interactive Diagnostics, tests are conducted by entering
commands in the CLI. You start the CLI by executing the
SODCLI.BAT program in any standard Windows 2000 manner. This
file and other required to run the CLI are provided with the ServerNet
II software.
CIM Management tool used to monitor and manage Compaq servers
Compaq SAN Service Provider that will work with Microsoft's
Window Sockets Direct (WSD) through the use of its SAN
interconnect, ServerNet II. See also Window Sockets Direct.
DAL The DLL software layer located between the SPA Agent Extension
and the SPA driver. At the direction of the SPA Agent Extension, the
ServerNet II DAL performs Get and Set function calls to the variable
data defined in the Adapter MIB.
DLL Executable that allows an application to share specific functions
Validates that the node where Diagnostics is being run can
communicate with one or more remote nodes.

Internal interconnect architecture used by a switch that redirects the
data coming in on one of its ports out to another of its ports. Also,
the combination of interconnected switches used throughout a
campus or large geographic area, which collectively provide a
routing infrastructure.
GUID Identifies the nodes on the SAN; found in Diagnostic test results
