Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

(Use primarily for new installations) For best results, we recommend you perform the tasks in the order
presented in this step-by-step, "bottom up" troubleshooting table.
Note: Identifiers such as "IN 1, PU 1, SLED 1" are used for reference in Table F-3.

Re-install Windows 2000.

Configure the server.
Power down the Switch.
Check the voltage setting on the Switch power
supply.
Toggle the power button on the Switch. Ensure the
connections to the Switch and external power
source are secure.
Replace the Switch.
Replace the power cord.
Check that the problem is not with the power source
or power connections or cables.
