Event Message: RTD Negotiation failed.
Corrective Action:
Verify that the X-fabric and Y-fabric Switches are correctly installed to the SAN and
powered on.
Verify that SAN Administrative node is up and running.
The node is added to the SAN with correct host name.
Check the connections and reboot.
If the problem persists, reconfigure the Switches.
Event Message: DriverEntry timed out waiting for SNID Validation to complete.
Corrective Action:
Verify that the X-fabric and Y-fabric Switches are correctly installed to the SAN and
powered on.
Event Message: TCM component of SANMan is unable to determine the local computer
name.
Corrective Action: Check the Windows 2000 installation for the correct NT version. Also,
make sure that a valid host name is assigned to the machine.
Event Message: TCM component of SANMan failed due to inability to allocate memory for
RAP.
Corrective Action: Increase the physical memory. If the problem persists, contact your
service provider.
Event Message: TCM component of SANMan failed due to inability to allocate memory for
broadcast RTD buffer.
Corrective Action: Increase the physical memory. If the problem persists, contact your
