Computer Name (read only) — What you named this computer (server) when you
I
installed the Windows 2000 operating system (OS)
Switch port number — Port number on the Switch to which you have physically
I
connected the primary administrative node. You can connect any node to any Switch
port from 0-11. This port number is later displayed in the ServerNet II Administrative
Utility (SANUtil). See the section "Creating the SAN Topology" in this chapter.
12. Click the down arrow next to the number box and select the Switch port number to which
you want to connect the primary administrative node.
13. Click Next. The Configuration Wizard – Step 3 of 3 appears. The default is Configure a
Single X Fabric, as shown.
14. Change to the desired configuration, either Single X fabric, Single Y fabric, or Dual
Fabric (both X and Y fabrics). In this example, select Dual Fabric. (See the section
"ServerNet II SAN Topologies" in Chapter 1 for more fabric examples.)
15. Click Finish. A ConfigWiz information screen appears that prompts you to reenable the
ServerNet II drivers so the changes can take effect. Steps 18 and 19 describe
this procedure.
