nodes and paths. It provides more detailed information than the
batch mode. Requires knowledge of commands and Command Line
Interface (CLI).

MIB
A conceptual database of objects that can be defined and accessed
by a network management protocol such as SNMP. These objects
describe the configuration, status, and statistical information stored
at a managed network device.
Part of the SAN topology comprised of a ServerNet II Adapter
installed in a Compaq ProLiant server. In a ServerNet II topology:
I An end node is any node in a SAN topology other than the
primary administrative node or a node in a switchless SAN
topology.
I The primary administrative node is the node you designate
(through the ServerNet II software) as the management node.
There is only one primary administrative node in a SAN
topology. Switchless topologies do not have a primary
administrative node.
PCI
A high-speed burst-multiplexed address/data bus that connects
peripheral devices to the processor and memory.

Description of the SAN topology obtained by SANMan during
Diagnostics
Diagnostic test that validates that the specific paths between the
node (where the diagnostic is being run) and other nodes and
Switches are functional.

GUI used to configure and define the SAN cluster topology

SN II
Second ServerNet release; includes VI support and improved

Adapter

Driver software for the Adapter that is installed on a server running

Term that may be found in some examples and software files and is
synonymous with the 12-port ServerNet II Switch
