ServerNet II Switch Features

A ServerNet II Switch (the "Switch") is a point-to-point networking device that connects up to
12 nodes in the ServerNet II System Area Network (SAN). It routes ServerNet II packets from
originating nodes to destination nodes on the servers. A ServerNet II Switch is required for a
SAN with three or more nodes and is optional for a SAN with two nodes.

Monitoring of SAN operations through standard SNMP agents or through Compaq Insight
