2. Select Topology Configuration from the SAN Administration option bar. In this example,
dual-fabric topology is displayed. You configured this earlier in this procedure when you
added the primary node using the ServerNet II Configuration Wizard. For more
information, see the section "Configuring Nodes" in this chapter.
NOTE: The primary administrative node (in this example, Port 0) is displayed as blue, meaning it is
already part of the SAN. It was added automatically when you configured it in earlier steps. See the
section "Configuring Nodes" in this chapter to see when this step was performed.
Topology Configuration — Displays the topology selected when you configured the

primary administrative node
System Configuration — Lets you change the primary administrative node, configure

a backup node, or change the SAN topology from single to dual fabric

Switches
(the "0" is for identification purposes only and is not used in later
steps). Items in the display turn blue to indicate they have been added to the topology.

5. The Add Switch box appears. Type in a name for the Switch and click OK. If there are
two Switches, you may want to number them in some way, for example, SWITCH01. If
you completed the Configuration Worksheet or have a similar topology outline, be sure to
name and/or number the Switch per your design.
