12.2 Troubleshooting Flow Chart

Change the input to meet the specifications
(See section 14.1).

Adjust the span and range
(See sections 5.1 to 5.7).
• Separate the input wiring from the
noise source.
• Ground the recorder properly.

• Ground the measuring object
properly.
• Insulate the TC from the measured
object.
• Use shielded cable for input.
• Correct the A/D integration frequency
(See section 5.9).
• Use the input filter (See section 5.8).
• Use the cover for the input terminal.

• Protect the input terminal from wind
or fans.
• Keep the room temperature constant
around the input terminal.
• Wire correctly (See section 2.3).

• Fix the terminal block properly.
• Fasten the terminal screws.
• Insulate the RTD from ground.
• If burnt, replace the TC.
