6 Operation and Maintenance
Expected Result
The condensate pan
and liquid level
detector have no
scale.
The air filter is clean
and not blocked.
The air filter is not
damaged or
distorted.
The compressor is
secured.
The compressor
service valve has no
oil stains.
The compressor
does not generate
abnormal sound
during operation.
The refrigerant pipe
does not leak or
corrode, and is
properly wrapped
with thermal
insulation foam.
The refrigerant pipe
support is secure
and intact.
The indoor fan
guard is not
misshapen.
The indoor fan
blades are intact.
The operating
indoor fan
generates no
abnormal noise.
Troubleshooting
Clean up the scale
from the
condensate water
pan and liquid level
detector.
Remove and clean
the air filter.
(Cleaning with
water is
recommended.)
Replace the air
filter.
Tighten screws if
the compressor is
not secured.
Clean up the oil
stains.
Replace the
compressor.
Repair the leakage
points and rewrap
thermal insulation
foam.
Replace the support
and secure it again.
Repair or replace
the fan guard.
Replace the fan
assembly.
Replace the fan
assembly.
