6 Function description

6.1 Overview

FlexLoader SC 6000 is a module based automation cell for handling parts in
machine tending applications. The system can easily be adapted to the requirements
of the customer.
In a typical application FlexLoader SC 6000 is integrated with a machine tool. The
operator places parts on a conveyor belt that acts as a buffer. The robot picks the
parts from the conveyor belt. A vision system with camera that is located above
the conveyor belt guides the robot to the correct grip position. After that all parts
under the camera have been picked, the conveyor belt feeds new parts forward.
FlexLoader SC 6000 can be configured with a variety of useful options. Please

FlexLoader SC 6000 contains numerous mechanical devices and sensors that are
important to know about in order to understand the function.
