Occurrence
The motor doesn't
rotate although an
operation com-
mand was entered.

Estimated cause(s)
The inverter is tripping.
A warning is issued.
The operation command isn't
entered.
The frequency command destina-
tion isn't entered.
A shutoff function is at work.
A limit function is at work.
Motor is locked.
Wiring or the like is disconnected.
12 Troubleshooting
Exemplar measures to be taken
• When the inverter trips due to an error, you need to
remove the error factor and reset the inverter.
• See 12-2 Error No. and Its Measure on page 12-5 in
this chapter.
• If a warning is issued, you need to eliminate the data
inconsistency.
• See 12-3-2 Checking Inconsistent Settings on page
12-29 in this chapter.
The operation command destination may be wrong, or
the operation command may not be accepted.  Pro-
ceed to Operation command destination or operation
command is wrong.
The frequency command destination may be wrong, or
the frequency command may be 0.  Proceed to Fre-
quency command destination or frequency command
is wrong.
The function safety terminal, terminal function [RS], or
[FRS] terminal may be enabled, or [ROK] terminal may
be disabled.  Proceed to A shutoff function is at work.
The command direction may be limited by the rotation
direction limit function.  Proceed to A limit function is
at work.
If the motor shaft is locked by something which hinders
the brake or the motor revolution (e.g., clogging), the
cause needs to be removed.
Check for abnormalities such as disconnection of the
output line to the motor or disconnection within the
motor.
